Dr. Hsuan (Christy) Chao is a caring and approachable practitioner with a deep passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). As the sixth generation in her family of TCM doctors, she brings both heritage and modern expertise to her practice, combining curiosity, tradition, and evidence-informed care. She adopts a holistic and individualised approach, tailoring treatments to support each patient’s unique needs.Dr. Christy is a registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and an accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).She graduated with distinctions from RMIT University, completing a 5-year double Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Chinese Medicine). To further her training, she undertook a clinical internship at the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China, gaining hands-on experience in integrative healthcare.Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dr. Christy bridges cultural and medical perspectives to deliver compassionate, accessible, and effective healthcare.
